With over 15 years of professional experience working with individuals with special needs, Emily Eisen, M. Ed., holds the following titles: Director of Brainworks Plus; Licensed NYS Teacher (34 years); Licensed Educational Consultant/Kinesiologist/Brain GymÆ Instructor (8 years); Sanctioned Bal-A-Vis-XÆ Instructor; and a licensed Language of Mastery(TM) Instructor.
Emily works privately with children, teens, families and seniors, in addition to training educators, occupational, physical and recreational psychotherapists, and helping professionals, to learn and use the 26 Brain GymÆ movements and the over 200 Bal-A-Vis-XÆ exercises, to activate optimal brain function for learning and daily living.
Emily’s programs have been taught at facilities all over Long Island, as well as at the Annual International Educational Kinesiology Conference, hosting over 40 countries. Her speciality is working with academically and socially challenged children to teach them how to do brain-activated, integrated and relaxing movements to achieve optimal brainpower and sensory capability. Emily also works with seniors to teach them how to move to keep their brains and bodies fit and functioning so that they can enjoy life to the fullest.
