For over twenty years, Dr. Cheryl Berger Israeloff has been treating patients challenged with dizziness and headaches (including migraines), post-concussive syndrome, double or blurred vision, vertigo, binocular vision dysfunction, etc. by discovering the root cause of their symptoms and addressing the condition with the most innovative and customized care.
At the Neuro Visual Center of New York, Dr. Israeloff helps puts an end to her patients’ suffering with customized treatment so that they may achieve not only greater vision but a greater quality of life.
Dr. Israeloff’s qualifications lie in her special training to both diagnose and address eye misalignment conditions. She has more than 20 years of experience in practicing optometry, and is dedicated to providing patients with relief and answers to their questions.
Dr. Israeloff uses extensive testing and a unique treatment that utilizes prismatic lenses that are designed to correct the misalignment of the eyes and keep the eye muscles from straining themselves in an effort to rectify the unbalanced images they send to the brain. With these special lenses, the patient’s symptoms are markedly reduced and often eliminated.
Dr. Israeloff is also one of the few optometrists in the entire country to have been trained by Dr. Debby Feinberg of Vision Specialists of Michigan to treat Superior Oblique Palsy and Vertical Heterophoria. She is the only optometrist in all of New York to possess this specialized training. Dr. Israeloff also studied at and graduated from Cornell University and SUNY College of Optometry.
