The Northport Wellness Center is pleased to partner with Moshe Dekel, MD to provide our patients with breast, thyroid and dental screening thermography.
Dr. Dekel is the only board-certified OB/GYN specializing in holistic, integrative medicine and age management medicine in the New York City tri-state area with a truly holistic approach to care. Dr. Dekel, MD specializes in breast thermography, bioidentical hormone replacement, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapy for joints, autism, ADHD, emotional stress like anxiety and insomnia, and nutrition. Dr. Dekel is also a DAN-certified (Defeat Autism Now) practitioner and works with bioenergetic medicine. Even though the practice is located in Bohemia, Long Island NY, he sees patients from all states and from abroad and he is very active in Telemedicine.
A native of Tel Aviv, Israel, Dr. Dekel served in the Israeli Air Force for three years before earning his medical doctorate from the University of Bologna in Bologna, Italy, in 1975. After completing his internship at Long Island College Hospital and his residency at the former Brooklyn Jewish Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, he started his own practice as an OB/GYN.
During his 39 years of practice, Dr. Dekel served as an assistant clinical professor at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, chief of gynecologic surgery at Long Island Surgi-Center, and as medical director of the Long Island Birthing Center on Long Island, New York.
Today, Dr. Dekel is dedicated to providing integrative, holistic care to his New York City-area patients locally and nationwide. He investigated stem cell therapy for more than a year before incorporating it into his pain-management treatments and now recommends this revolutionary therapy for a wide range of conditions, including erectile dysfunction. In addition, he is part of a new approach in age management medicine, pioneered by Cenegenics®, which promotes prevention and optimization of the hormones that your body already produces.
Dr. Dekel also specializes in chronic fatigue joint regeneration, erectile dysfunction, anti-aging and also treats patients with conditions such as diabetes, thyroid and adrenal dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, chronic pain, obesity, high blood pressure and digestive issues. Dr. Dekel also treats for sleep disorders and emotional stress.
Dr. Dekel’s primary goal since retiring from surgeries and deliveries in 2000 has been helping men and women achieve better health through functional medicine, bioidentical hormones, nutritional counseling, and nutritional supplementation. He uses holistic medicine to prevent and treat conditions like diabetes, erectile dysfunction, chronic pain, obesity, and high blood pressure.
