Stacy Plaske RN, E-RYT

Stacy Plaske's health journey began when she was 15 years old. After spending far too much time in funeral homes and hospitals as a child and adolescent, she realized early on the undeniable connection between diet, lifestyle, mental outlook and health.

"I knew in the deepest guttural sense that I had the power to dictate my health and wellbeing by taking my health into my own hands," she recalls.

In 1999, Stacy met Barbara Chivvis, a Nurse, Colon Hydrotherapist, and Acupuncturist who she says changed her life for the better. Stacy became a Colon Therapist under her tutelage, refined her diet, and began practicing yoga. Her entire life became a dedicated study and experiment of mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.

In 2002, Stacy opened Balance Yoga & Healing Arts Center and ran the center with her heart and soul for 17 years. A Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher and Teacher Trainer as well as an Authorized Level 2 Ashtanga Yoga Teacher, Stacy has been blessed to make nine trips to India, which she calls her "second home," and countless trips all over the country to study with some of the most incredibly gifted yoga teachers of our time.

Feeling a strong desire to expand her ability to help others, Stacy began Stony Brook University's Accelerated Nursing Program and passed the RN board exam in 2020. Gifted with an unexpected natural talent for IV administration, Stacy works with a holistic doctor in Huntington where she continues to administer IV nutritional drips.

Stacy was inspired by the recently deceased Natural Health practitioner, Zora Nemati, and Barbara Chivvis. She says, "I have felt divinely inspired and led to continue their healing work along with 25+ years of an insatiable passion to bring true wellness and vitality to others."

Recently, Stacy and Meghan Sheehy co-founded Village Vitality in Huntington, NY. Village Vitality provides services, such as colon hydrotherapy, that can assist individuals in achieving optimal health.
