Tara Lawless is a Licensed Massage Therapist, experienced in medical and cancer massage, Reiki Master, and a Certified Health and Emotional Well-being coach with a passion for guiding those with chronic conditions to a place of healing and thriving.
Tara received her certification in health coaching from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition while being formally diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the same time. Despite the temptation to follow the current narrative set for MS patients and their lives, Tara chose to follow her convictions and bring healing to her body using the tools and knowledge learned in both her health coaching program and from trusted doctors and mentors.
After becoming a Reiki practitioner in 1999, she developed a love for holding a space for healing and facilitating the connection between the body, mind, and soul and decided to deepen her knowledge of the body and pursue a license in massage therapy. She attended the NY College of Health Professions in 2001 where she learned the western and Asian approaches to treating the body with hands -on techniques. She carries an additional certificate in oncology massage given by Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Tara spent almost two decades treating and coaching her clients to a place of better health and wellness. She is ever the optimist and believes that if given the chance and the right support the body can thrive despite any situation it faces.
