Pelvic Floor Therapy

Pelvic floor therapy can help women, men and children throughout their lifespan.  Some issues that can be helped with this holistic treatment include: preparing for birth/rehabilitating from birth and c-section, urinary, bowel, sexual dysfunction, pain (endometriosis, surgery, trauma), fertility, constipation, bed wetting in children, and healing post-prostatectomy, abdominal or pelvic surgery.

Northport Wellness Center Alliance Member Rachelle Bojer, MSRT, has always had a passion for helping women of all ages. She has developed Powerful Pushing, a program that helps women during pregnancy to prepare for birth, and CoreConnection, a program that helps women heal from birth.  Rachelle is passionate about helping women holistically manage the transition into menopause.  She is working hard to normalize the need for pelvic floor therapy as standard of care for women of all ages.

Rachelle offers a workshop for teens called Teen Talk, which helps educate teens about puberty and the changes that come along with the teenage years.  She is also certified in Breast Cancer Rehabilitation and helps women improve range of motion and strength in their core and upper extremities after surgery and treatments.

Rachelle's holistic approach to treatment also includes the practice of Pranic Healing, a form of energy work that helps individuals improve with natural support and guidance.  She loves working collaboratively with colleagues to get the best outcomes for her clients.

Rachelle has office locations in Huntington, Syosset, Farmingdale, Merrick, Babylon, Yaphank, Riverhead and Southold. To learn more about pelvic floor therapy or to schedule an appointment with Rachelle, please call (631) 629-5507 or visit www.lotusptlongisland.com.
