Breast thermography offers individuals an alternative or complimentary means to assessing tissue to evaluate breast health and potentially preventing major health challenges.

With breast thermography, a sensitive camera is used to pick up heat when directed at the breast (cancer cells hold onto heat); it lights up when the picture is taken. Breast thermography measures only the breast and results appear in a visual picture, whereas computer regulation thermography can detect disorders or irregularities throughout the body. Results are printed immediately and offer enormous insight into a person’s health.

Thermography for Breast Cancer Screening

According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, with the exception of skin cancer. Still, death rates from breast cancer have been declining since about 1989, which, according to the ACS, is believed to be the result of earlier detection through screening and increased awareness, as well as improved treatment. Breast thermography can help address symptoms and disorders before they become problematic. It is important to consult with your health care provider to discuss your particular medical history and decisions about health care.

Northport Wellness Center practitioner, Debra Liebowitz, assists clients in evaluating their health with Thermography, CyberScan and Halo Technology.

Debra has helped hundreds of clients challenged with numerous health conditions or challenges including allergies, autoimmune issues, autism, digestive issues, Lyme Disease, heavy metal toxicity, inflammation, chronic fatigue and more.

Debra is a trained Thermography Technician who conducts part and full body scans.

She has experience in capturing infrared images that are evaluated by a Board    Certified Thermograph Technician.

Debra will be providing services at the Northport Wellness Center location on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. until  7 p.m.
